Fire Ant Specialists has developed a specialized bait that entices the worker ants to take it directly to the queen. Once she ingests the granules, she becomes sterile. This is a significant secret attack.

Without producing the normal (up to) 1,000 eggs a day, she cannot replenish her workforce. The worker ants live an average of four to six weeks. So once that generation dies off, the entire colony is gone. The queen will starve, as will any unhatched eggs.

They’re one of the only ant groups that both bite and sting. They bite so they can sting you repeatedly from the same spot. And they like to do so in groups if you disturb them. These ants are predators and have been known to take down animals that are old, young, weak, or sick.

They will enter other areas like pump or well houses, and beneath foundations, causing serious problems. They can short out wires and crumble foundations. They need to disappear.
